Theoretical Frameworks to Guide the Therapist in Group Interventions
Tracking # 20-946849
Course overview
The research literature supports the value of group intervention to increase social participation and provide needed peer support and feedback. However, practitioners often lack group leadership experience and knowledge of strategies for energizing groups and building group cohesion. In this two-part course, viewers will learn to apply theoretical frameworks to group interventions as well as various techniques for assessment of group dynamics, group warm-up, and structured activities.
