Translating Medical Rules Into a Pediatric Therapy Practice

Course overview

The rules and guidelines that govern medical practices are primarily written with the adult patient in mind. This course will present the guidelines, rules and conventions that apply to pediatric PT, OT and SLP outpatient therapy service provision. The student will be given resources that allow future and ongoing monitoring of compliance with regulations and conventions.
