Course overview
This class is the State mandated certification for for ALF Administrators and Managers. The course is a 26 hour online/self-paced OR live via zoom course that covers the minimum standards required to operate and administer a licensed ALF in Florida. The course curriculum in mandated by state law and includes areas of study in Medication Management, Resident Care, Staffing, Staff Training, Licensure, Admission Standards. Upon completion of the class, the student may register and sit for the certification exam. The Instructors are accredited and approved by the Agency for Health Care Administration
