The Huang Di Nei Jing describes the dynamic biofield that creates and maintains life in great detail. In it, the Yellow Emperor converses with physicians as they explain how we need to orient to the Yin Yang integration of Heaven and Earth to grasp these dynamics within the human body. The Six Conformations are the Six Great Sweeping Motions that work within us to create and maintain our lives. The Yellow Emperor's conversations speak of nothing other than the Biofield. Zhang Zhongjing then wrote the manual on how to apply this orientation to the practice of herbal medicine, calling it the Shang Han Lun. When we view the Six Conformations through the lens of the Biofield described in the Huang Di Nei Jing, they spring to life, and we can see into the way the formula architecture restores our relationship to the healing Biofield.
