Course overview
Over the course of the training, participants will learn global history of the 2LGBTQIA+ community and how this laid a foundation for current societal understandings of and attitudes toward sexuality and gender. Presenter will guide participants in personal reflection and exploration of birth assigned sex, sexuality and gender in order to more holistically understand their 2SLGBTQIA+ Clients. Small and large group discussions will be utilized to strengthen applying this understanding to exploring sexuality and gender identity with clients in therapy.
