Influenza, or as it is more commonly known as the flu, has plagued mankind for centuries. Like many viruses, the severity of the symptoms of this virus varies on the patient's medical history and other personal details. Modern medicine and technologies have helped improve how this virus is treated with vaccines and medicines taken to lessen the severity of symptoms. Sharing some similar symptoms and side effects with COVID-19 and the common cold, influenza can be spread from one person to the next. This course will discuss ways to help treat patients with influenza or multiple infectious diseases simultaneously, as well as ways to keep you healthy and safe.
