Course overview
Within the prevention field, one size fits all interventions have shown only modest effects in reducing rates of substance use. This course explores the possibility that personalized prevention interventions may be a more effective approach. The authors hypothesize that measuring environmental sensitivity as a moderator of intervention response may lead to the development of a screening tool that prevention practitioners can use to tailor the type or dosage of preventatives to their high-risk clients.
