Course overview

The purpose of this course is to provide an overview consequences of incompatibility and distribution of blood types, to know blood incompatibility in women and their symptoms, describe and identify the signs and complications- rh incompatibility, discuss and list three factors that contribute to blood incompatibility errors, to know common types and causes of labeling errors in specimen. And let students know how to avoid lab mistakes, and let learners know what blood types is and compatibility of the donors and recipient's blood types, also abo incompatibility reaction is and what are transfusion reactions, lastly letting them understand the procedure for safely administering blood transfusions.
