Course overview

The Therapeutic Touch Mentorship Part One is the first step in preparation for the International Credential in TT. The Mentorship prerequisite is the Fioundations of TT or Basic TT seminar. The Qualified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner (QTTP) credential is awarded by Therapeutic Touch International Associates, Inc. (formerly Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International, Inc.), the official organization of Therapeutic Touch, through a mentorship with a Qualified TT Teacher (QTTT). Shirley Spear Begley, a TT practitioner and educator of over 30 years provides education, mentoring and supervision for this course. Classes meet over 4 months for 16 hours, with clinical practice during and between sessions. Integration within clinical practice is essential to the deepened experience of this energetic healing modality. Extensive research validating its effectiveness has grown out of its utilization by all health care professionals. Mentoring in the phases of the practice plus guidance in maintaining and completing documentation leading toward the QTTP credential application process is provided.
