Course overview
This course is designed to prepare pharmacists for the responsibility of counseling and educating patients and caregivers on signs of opioid overdose and naloxone use in order to improve patient access to naloxone. This program will describe the national overdose concerns associated with opioids, review proper administration of the available naloxone formulations, and describe the current naloxone access laws in place.
