Thyroid eye disease (TED) is a debilitating autoimmune condition that is characterized by proliferation of fibroblasts which result in an increased extraocular muscle size and orbital fat volume. Tepezza (Tetprotumumab) is a new FDA-approved drug that is proven to be effective in treating secondary symptoms of thyroid eye disease. This course explores an overview of thyroid eye disease and its complications, as well as a case of TED and its course of treatment with Tepezza.
