Course overview

Manual therapy has been shown to be effective in the management of multiple spinal disorders in our profession, especially in conjunction with therapeutic exercise. This course is designed to enhance manual therapy skills, confidence in performing manual therapy techniques, and greater patient outcomes for Physical Therapists. Having uniformity of manual therapy and comfort with manual therapy techniques in our profession is a fundamental skill. In this 6-hour lab-intensive course, mobilization techniques from the upper cervical spine to the sacrum will be presented in a comfortable environment. Whether participants are unfamiliar with more advanced mobilization techniques or simply seeking to sharpen their skills, this course will be useful in a high percentage of a physical therapists outpatient caseload. The course allows for significant lab time, in which participants will get frequent feedback in a relaxed setting to become proficient with manual therapy techniques.
