Course overview

Past research has shown some evidence that active military clinical populations have poorer treatment outcomes for PTSD than civilian populations. This is a meta-analytic study aimed at studying differences in treatment outcomes for different types of military service (active combat, sexual assault in the military, and a combination of both) as well as differences between military and civilian populations. Researchers of this study offer recommendations for improving treatment of PTSD for military populations.
