Conduct disorder refers to a broad pattern of functioning that includes diverse disruptive and rule-breaking behaviors. This course explores several empirically-supported interventions for conduct disorder: Anger Control Training; Anger Coping and Coping Power Programs; Delinquency Prevention Program; Parent-Child Interaction Therapy; Parent-Training Intervention; Multisystemic Therapy; Incredible Years Parent, Teacher and Child Training Series; and Problem Solving Skills Training. Learning Objectives: * Review a description of conduct disorder and oppositional defiant disorder, including a definition of symptoms, onset, and prevalence rates. * Compare each intervention to various treatment alternatives. * Review a description of the important steps and elements for each treatment intervention.
