Course overview
Clinically complex patients often have a history of cardiac disease and require careful management of blood pressure (BP) for the best outcomes. Every member of the interdisciplinary team, including the patient, plays a role in managing the patient's BP along with developing effective evaluation and treatment plans for the patient's primary diagnoses. After taking this course, learners will understand the role of the interdisciplinary team in helping manage BP. Topics include medications and side effects, signs and symptoms that require further assessment and intervention, and the importance of self-management skills and available resources.
