Course overview

The course provides 1.0 hour of continuing education for professionals, incorporating reading-based materials and lesson tests in curricular modules. This course provides nursing professionals with the tools to recognize and document sex and labor trafficking, as well as necessary support and resources. Course participants learn to define human trafficking, describe forms of human trafficking, and identify possible warning signs that indicate labor trafficking and sex trafficking. The course also addresses how to identify mental health indicators related to human trafficking and sex trafficking and introduces contact resources for victims of human trafficking.
