Course overview

The 2 CE hour Prevention of Medical Errors home study course outlines medical errors made in the American health care system. It explains these errors and then presents possible solutions to them. This course also lists and explains steps that patients can take to protect themselves from medical errors and statistics relating to medical errors in the United States. In the Prevention of Medical Errors home study course, massage therapists and bodyworkers will be presented with common medical errors made by massage therapists and what to do in order to prevent them. In taking this course, massage therapists will have a better understanding of medical errors and what to do to prevent them, not only in their own practices but also in other health care settings.
