This presentation provides a basic-level overview of TB infection by reviewing the natural history of TB disease, its transmission, difference between latent/active disease, and disease management. Prevention will also be reviewed, including challenges to eradication, and what we currently know about the downstream effects of COVID-19 on TB rates.
