Providing Culturally Competent Care to the Muslim Population
Tracking # 20-915426
Course overview
Providing culturally competent care to patients of the Muslim faith requires knowledge of the Islamic religious beliefs. Healthcare team members may find it difficult to understand unfamiliar healthcare values and beliefs of patients who are Muslim. Understanding these religious differences can assist in providing high-quality care. The goal of this continuing education course is to educate nurses in all settings on providing culturally competent care to patients who are Muslim.
