Course overview
An in-depth explanation of what osteogenesis imperfect is, how to safely implement occupational intervention, and the perspective of what it is like to live with OI will be discussed in this course. Taught by an OT who has OI, this course will cover many of the modifications and adaptations that the instructor has made in her own life, as well as the emotional and social impact that OI has had, and how therapists can address these areas to support clients with OI.
