This course is the online component of the in-person Dry Needling course level I This online course will provide the base knowledge of Dry Needling concepts to the participants to allow understanding of the physiology of myofascial pain and dysfunction. It teaches the concepts of obtaining informed consent, explaining risks and benefits of dry needling, and appropriate choice of patients for dry needling with knowledge of contraindications and precautions. This course is a prerequisite for any live dry needling courses with IAOM-US, and the material is referred to throughout the live course
