Join this presentation to learn what grief is, what it looks like, and how adolescents and adolescent athletes in particular respond to grief. Learn how to support a grieving adolescent and when you should be concerned about an adolescent's grief response. This training prepares learners to: define grief and how this may present in individuals; review the Kubler-Ross' 5 stages of grief; differentiate the presentation of grief in adolescents; identify ways to support the grieving adolescent; and, recognize when symptoms of grief are concerning and options for treatment.
