Recognizing Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation

Course overview

Being able to recognize the signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child, an individual with developmental disabilities, or other vulnerable adult is extremely important in protecting members of our society. Everyone should report signs that indicate a child, an individual with developmental disabilities, or another vulnerable adult may be the victim of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation (maltreatment).
