Course overview

Through a case-based approach, this 3-hour course emphasizes key considerations applicable to the rehabilitation professional in effectively managing patients with COVID-19. Case studies will overview pathophysiological considerations, lines and tubes, oxygenation considerations and multi-system involvement to provides the therapist with insights in managing this unique population of patients. Further, examples will elucidate 'unstable' from 'stable-unstable' labels and emphasize a response-dependent approach to managing these patients.
