Course overview
Positioning for feeding is critical for the safety, well being and pleasurable experience for the child and caregiver. Many factors contribute to safe and effective feeding and swallowing. This beginner to intermediate topic will cover the importance of positioning, postural alignment, effects of muscle tone and how it impacts on positioning as well as the various sensory components that can have impact and influence meal time.
