Course overview
This covers ways to improve supervisor skills in providing validation, eliciting honest feedback, and helping supervisees develop skills in effectively providing feedback. Skill development will include how to assist staff in providing critical feedback as well as how to assist staff in tempering or adjusting their persistently negative feedback. Additional focus will be on ensuring supervisor openness to feedback and appropriate responding to feedback.
