Individuals suffering from anxiety, mood dysregulation, and trauma often struggle to adequately regulate symptoms such as racing thoughts, hypervigilance, and psychophysiological symptoms despite often experiencing success with psychotherapy and/or medication management in alleviating many of their symptoms. Fortunately for these individuals, neurofeedback and heart rate variability (HRV) training can help them develop the ability to better regulate these symptoms and act as a missing piece of the puzzle in their treatment regimen. This webinar will present neurofeedback and HRV training based on a polyvagal theory framework to train individuals to better balance autonomic nervous system functioning as well as improve emotional regulation, self-awareness, and attentiveness.
