Course overview

Healthcare leaders are asked to evaluate new services, products, and processes to determine not only improved patient outcomes but also the value to the financial health of the organization.¿ Tools necessary for this task are not often taught in traditional healthcare education.¿ This course will discuss financial planning concepts, break even analysis, development of a planning checklist and the presentation of the plan.¿ After attending this session, the participant will have the knowledge to evaluate new service lines and products that improve patient care and the health of the organization.
