Strategies for addressing sex and intimacy with more confidence and ease in any setting will be addressed in this course. The course will touch on personal biases/assumptions, OT scope of practice, a brief review of practice models, and assessments that are available. Education on assistive devices, adaptations and modifications for treatment intervention, and health benefits of participation in sex and intimacy across the lifespan will be discussed.
