Habit disorders are repetitive, apparently nonfunctional, motor patterns that produce either physical injury or psychosocial distress due to their repetitive nature. The onset for each type of habit disorder varies slightly but typically starts in childhood or early adolescence and may persist into adulthood. This course focuses on the intervention - habit reversal-for habit disorders.
