This course is designed to educate the Optometric practitioner on the keys to identifying suspicious lesions of the retina and choroid. A case presentation will guide the participant through diagnosis and treatment options for primary choroidal melanoma. Examples of Metastatic cancers of the retina and choroid will be discussed. As well, treatment and appropriate referral patterns will be defined so the clinician understands the next steps to helping patients get the care they need.
