Course overview
Despite recent processes and technological advances, medical errors remain a significant cause of mortality and morbidity in the US healthcare system. This course is designed for healthcare professionals of all disciplines involved in the care of patients. Relevant practice settings include, but are not limited to, inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, home-based care, ambulatory surgery centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
