Course overview

This webinar will review the latest Medicare administrative contractors (MAC) reimbursement rules issued in June 2022 on molecular syndromic panels for infectious disease pathogen identification testing, with possible compliance solution approaches. Strategies to implement diagnostic stewardship in order to support high-quality, efficient patient care will be described. A case study will be presented to compare and contrast different methods of stewardship and evaluate their effectiveness in different environments. The focus will be on highlighting the diversity of potential approaches to accomplish stewardship goals. Learning Objectives At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to: Understand the implications of the current Medicare administrative contractors (MAC) reimbursement rules on molecular syndromic panels for infectious disease pathogen identification testing and possible compliance solution approaches.
