Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation Training

Course overview

The participants will be able to define abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Identify the signs and symptoms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation in the healthcare setting. Be able to list the behaviors of the abused, characteristics of an abuser. Identify ways in which healthcare professional can protect patients from abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation and finally know the obligation to report suspected abuse.
