By the end of this course, learners will be able to: Describe the epidemiology, biology and risk factors for melanoma skin cancers, list symptoms and diagnostic methods for melanoma, recognize the classification of various types of melanoma and how these tumors are staged, discuss treatment options based on tumor stage, identify methods to decrease the risk of skin cancer using prevention strategies, and identify claims implications related to skin cancers for the employer and claims professionals.
