Course overview

This seminar is designed to be a comprehensive step-by-step (session by session) research- based program for helping clients heal from the trauma of infidelity. This seminar explores what infidelity looks like today, types of affairs, gender differences, warning signs, why it happens, how it happens and the trauma of the revelation. The treatment portion on this program will focus on how to rebuild trust, create meaning and understanding of the affair, foster genuine forgiveness and build protective factors (communication and conflict management strategies, positive sentiment, turning towards behaviors, rituals of connection). This seminar also includes numerous homework assignments or in-session enrichment activities for your clients.
