Course overview

Over 92 million adults in the U.S. have a diagnosis of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Physical and occupational therapy professionals often screen, assess, and provide rehabilitation therapy to individuals with cardiovascular risk factors and disease. This course will review the primary cardiovascular conditions seen in the clinic and will address treatment considerations for this population, including patient education and assessment using standardized outcome measures.
