Certification in Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine

Course overview

The Certification in Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine enables practitioners to develop competency in utilising Western herbal medicine and Western herbal medicine principles in the assessment, treatment and management of animals in their care. Successful completion of this course will enable practitioners to safely and effectively integrate a core group of 40 important herbs into a veterinary practice. The course is orientated towards applied theory, which can be implemented in a veterinary practice almost immediately. Practitioners will be able to develop confidence and competence over time during the course, with continuous case support, guidance and feedback from tutors with both simulated and active case forums and subsequently their own clinical cases.
