Sexual Harrassement in the Workplace
Tracking # 20-958848
Course overview
What is the definition of sexual harassment? What is a hostile work environment? The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued guidelines to establish criteria to address these issues. Many lower courts have relied on these guidelines, which have enforced litigation. In our course Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, we cover these topics and follow some of the EEOC's guidelines and decisions from these significant cases. We additionally examine EEOC's guidance on Employer Liability for Harassment by Supervisors, which provides practical guidance regarding the duty of employers to prevent and correct harassment and the duty of employees to avoid harassment by using their employers' complaint procedures.
