This issue looks at womens issues in and outside of psychotherapy. It examines the feminization of psychotherapy including how female therapists bring different perspectives to psychotherapy research and treatment best practices for doing therapy with new mothers the importance of pleasure in womens health and how its a way of recapturing joy comfort and exhilaration a look at the work of famed feminist psychologist Carol Gilligan rebalancing unequal workloads in modern partnerships and gender identity and attuning to gender pleasure. Other pieces include tips for reducing client dropout, a guide to working with last chance couples, and an interview with clinical psychology professor George Bonanno about traumatic stress and resilience.
