This one-hour, home-study continuing education course combines the terminology and technology of contact lenses with what's coming tomorrow. After completing the course, a participant will better understand the legal limitations an ECP has in Florida with regard to diagnosis and treatment; be more prepared to discuss ocular conditions with patients, and be more confident in terms of knowing when to refer to an optometrist, an ophthalmologist, or the emergency room; know more about common refractive errors corrected with contact lenses; have a deeper understanding with regard to the proprietary, scientific terms contact lens companies use to describe their products; and be more aware or what is coming in the future.
