EPR Physiology of Life and Death (ALS)
Tracking # 20-962208
Course overview
This interactive lecture explores the three systems of the body that are responsible for cellular energy production: the airway, lungs, and circulatory systems. These systems are affected most often by trauma and can be managed in the prehospital setting. Knowledge of the relationship of these systems to each other helps the prehospital care provider to recognize and manage potential life-threatening conditions. Early recognition and management of compromise in these systems of the body helps to prevent later complications and trauma patient death.
