Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy: Cervical and Thoracic

Course overview

This course will teach the physician how to diagnose and treat myofascial trigger points of the cervical and thoracic spine. Topics will include the neurology and physiology of a trigger point, anatomy and proper biomechanics of the cervical, thoracic and shoulder girdle musculature. An in depth look on how to identify and treat these muscles using ischemic compression as well as strain/counter-strain techniques will be covered.
