This program will inform nurses how to create a culture of safety in the perioperative setting. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to: describe the attributes of a "just culture" as it relates to reducing medical errors, review common OR processes that are prone to error, and identify the six steps to creating a culture of safety in the OR.
