Airborne and Bloodborne Pathogens

Course overview

This 1-hour online course provides the learner with the necessary training to have knowledge of the appropriate personal protective equipment when responding to an emergency to protect the first responder against airborne and bloodborne pathogens. In this course, learners will review the different airborne and bloodborne pathogens they will most commonly be exposed to with discussion of a new bloodborne pathogen as well as the equipment and preventative measures that should be taken for those pathogens.
