Course overview

Over the last 5 years, the number of states that have legalized cannabis for medical, adult, and recreational use has rapidly expanded. CBD is advertised commercially to heal just about anything and our adult and older adult patients are reaching for cannabis to alleviate symptoms ranging from pain to sleep disorders to anxiety. Do you routinely ask about cannabis use during patient intake? Do you feel comfortable discussing cannabis options? This podcast introduces learners to the different forms of cannabis and the differences between medical marijuana and recreational cannabis. Through patient cases, we explore how the different modes of ingesting cannabis impact patient presentation and plan of care.
