Course overview

As our society ages, the number of cases of elderly patients seen by EMS is sure to increase. As dementia is primarily a disease of the elderly, it is important to be familiar with the nuances of caring for and treating the demented patient. This lesson seeks to educate the learner about the management of the elderly patient with dementia.
