Course overview

EMS providers goal is often to save lives and ensure that patients receive the best care prior to reaching the hospital. When a patient refuses care, this however, can be challenging and it can leave the EMS provider torn between providing care or respecting the patients wishes. In this lesson, the learner will be educated on the management of patients that want to refuse care or transport.
