Course overview
Assessing and developing evidence-based interventions for pediatric patients with feeding and swallowing disorders requires observing both the functional aspects of feeding and the interactions between the child and caregiver assisting with the task. For interventions to be effective, they must be appropriate to the child's developmental stage and impairment. They also must be replicated by the child's caregiver for the best outcomes. This course reviews best practices in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients with dysphagia and feeding disorders across multiple settings.
