Course overview

Mental health professionals frequently push themselves to work beyond their natural bandwidths in the name of service. Over time, moving outside of these limitations will lead to an erosion of ones mental health. In this workshop we will focus on boundary setting as a cure against over exertion and a consequent decline in mental health. Participants will be introduced to boundary setting behaviors as acts of selfcare. Participants will be able to use I statements to set boundaries promoting self-care. Participants will be able to create a wellness plan and to identify an accountability partner.
